Huelsta web site has been published online. The site has been created using TYPO3, and demonstrates advanced TYPO3 capabilities. The following list is just a part of the features incorporated into the web site:

  • custom indexing configurations (a huge speed up was done in comparison to the built-in configurations)
  • custom search results rendering (with and without thumbnails depending on the type of the page)
  • advanced realurl with custom page path user function
  • support for 14 different languages (in 10 countries), and 11 different domain names with the custom fallback algorithms
  • intense use of GIFBUILDER
  • advanced caching schema
  • custom record translating algorithm which significantly accelerated the workflow of editing the data for all the supported languages and countries

ARS Berlin was in direct communication with the client and was in charge of the complete design, Flash development and requirement specification, WEBCentric did all the HTML/CSS/JS programming and project management, while Essential Dots was hired to do all the TYPO3 consulting and programming.

Many thanks to our partners for doing the excellent job!
